Sage People HR Admin cover on tap!

The Challenge

WaterAid's HR Administrator was due to go on study leave for 3 weeks, which left them with the challenge of finding admin cover for their Sage People HR System during this period. Not having the internal resource to cover this vital role, WaterAid turned to Tugela People, having found them listed as a service provider on the Sage People website.

Tugela People have an established Managed Services division that supports companies using the Sage People HR System. Support provided can be temporary (as in the case of WaterAid), dedicated (where a specific resource is allocated to provide regular support), or ongoing (with a contracted number of hours every month). Jamie Wilkins heads up the Managed Services division.

The Solution

Tugela People were engaged to provide the required admin cover. Abiola Kujore, Global System Administrator for WaterAid, said, "From initial contact with Jamie, he provided the required information, guidance, and clarification to all questions and responded promptly, detailing Tugela People's services and terms which gave us the confidence to engage their team. As part of the service provided, the Tugela People Managed Services team became the first contact point for the WaterAid HR team during this period, assisting with and working to resolve any Sage People system queries. They also provided end-user support, managing and addressing any questions that were raised directly or via WaterAid's system support mailbox.

 The Outcome

On returning from study leave, Abiola stated, "All our users were pleased with the service delivered by Tugela People during the cover period". When asked how likely they were to recommend the Tugela People on a scale of 1-10 (where 1 = not likely and 10 = highly likely), WaterAid awarded them a unanimous 10!
