Our Commitment to Sustainability
Sustainability is central to how we operate. We actively support environmentally responsible business practices, including working towards a paperless office and reducing our travel-related carbon footprint. We encourage remote collaboration, digital-first communications, and conscious travel decisions, helping us play our part in protecting the environment for future generations.
Promoting Education and Knowledge Sharing
Education is another cornerstone of our CSR strategy. We are passionate about knowledge sharing, not only with our clients but also within the communities in which we operate. Whether through mentoring, skills training, or open collaboration, we aim to support learning and development at every level.
Annual Charity Support: Giving Back to the Community
At Tugela People, we support a different charity each year as part of our ongoing commitment to giving back. Until recently, we were proud to support Kidney Care UK and the vital work it does.
We're now turning our support to Katharine House Hospice.

Katharine House offers specialist palliative care for individuals living with life-limiting illnesses, enabling them to maintain the best possible quality of life. Their incredible team, including medical professionals, counsellors, chaplains, volunteers and more, works closely with other health services to offer truly holistic and compassionate care that supports both patients and their families.
Recognising Employees Who Give Back
Employee recognition is an integral part of our culture. Through our internal ‘WOW Points’ scheme, colleagues can acknowledge one another for living our values. Each month, the names of those who’ve received WOW Points are entered into a random draw. The winner receives a voucher which they can choose to donate to our chosen charity, with the company matching the donation in full.
Paid Volunteer Days
To further support our CSR goals, all employees are encouraged to volunteer their time. Each member of the Tugela People team is allocated three paid volunteering days per year to participate in charitable activities of their choice. Many of our team members already dedicate their time to causes close to their hearts, reflecting our commitment to giving back to the wider community.
Supporting the Sage Foundation
As a proud Sage People business partner, Tugela People also supports the Sage Foundation, helping to drive positive social impact globally through volunteering, fundraising, and community engagement.
