Onwards and upwards as the Sage People Managed Services division continues to expand
Over the past quarter, we have seen rapid growth in our Managed Services division, both in terms of our offerings and our client base.
Along with maintaining ongoing client relationships, ensuring that our customers get the most out of their Sage People HR System without having to make a considerable investment in the necessary resource and expertise, is the essence of the service we provide. With the added flexibility for additional support when required, or cost savings when organisations need to consolidate, we offer a complete and flexible package that is suited to the needs of our customers. Our team of certified Sage People consultants provide support on day-to-day administration including simple fixes or complex system configurations and enable our customers to take full advantage of the Sage People capabilities.
In recent months we have had the pleasure of renewing contracts with several of our existing Managed Services clients and are pleased to have the opportunity to continue working with Gymshark, Awaze, Kaltura, Tipico, MIB (Motor Insurers’ Bureau) and Teach First. We are also proud to be working in partnership with another new client, Starlight Children’s Foundation, a national children’s charity in Australia, who have just recently engaged our services.
Support is normally provided on an ongoing basis, with a contracted number of hours every month, but we also offer dedicated support, where a specific Tugela People Managed Services consultant is assigned to a particular customer account. A number of our customers have taken advantage of this offering including Brown Bag Films, who we are pleased to welcome as a new client.
In addition to our full Managed Service offering, the support provided can also be temporary, as in the case of WaterAid who required temporary admin support to cover a three week period of study leave (read more in the case study ‘Sage People HR Admin cover on tap!’).
Further services now offered by our Managed Services team include an ‘Adoption Overview’ and a system ‘Health Check
In April this year, we launched a new service, as part of a suggested Sage People Spring Clean, in the form of an adoption overview, where our specialist Sage People HRIS consultants will review your HR processes and provide tailored advice and recommendations. By undertaking an adoption overview it will serve to answer questions such as “has the system achieved the objectives outlined at the time of implementation?”, “does it continue to support the user as required, effectively and efficiently?”, “do we need any system enhancements or additional functionality” and “what supplementary investment, training, and support do we need?”.
The adoption overview process involves a technical run-through of Sage People functionality and will help to determine which areas of the system you are/are not using, highlight any key areas for development, and will assist with producing a system roadmap based on your priorities alongside our recommendations. We have recently undertaken a number of these adoption overviews for several companies including Frank Recruitment Group, u-blox and Brown Bag Films.
A good example of the benefits of undertaking a health check is the work that we have done in partnership with Spencer Ogden, with whom we now provide day-to-day support. After conducting a full system health check, we helped identify pain points, areas of the system that need enhancing as well as new functionality that could be utilized. With our support, we’ll work through the recommendations from the health check and help create a roadmap for the next 12 months to ensure they get the most out of their HRIS investment. We’ll also provide the team with day-to-day support and ensure their Sage People HR System is being used in line with best practice. Click here to read the announcement for this.
