Tugela People turns 9!
January 2021 marked the 9th anniversary since the inception of Tugela People.
The past year has been a noteworthy one, made even more interesting by the pandemic. Despite all the obvious challenges, 2020 proved to be another good year for us as a company.
The past 12 months have been filled with many firsts and achievements in terms of our team, partnerships developments, client engagements and growing our network with industry colleagues.
Our team has continued to show the utmost professionalism and enthusiasm throughout the year, despite their own personal challenges imposed by lockdown and the pandemic. They have continued to manage client and partner projects, along with their ever-changing requirements, adapting to new ways of working and the evolving landscape, meeting the various targets throughout the year. The team still rises to the challenge daily, wow’ing our clients and continuing to offer and deliver a first-rate service.
Our Professional Services division saw substantial expansion and new leadership with the appointment of Dawn Whitehead, as our Professional Services Manager. Sabrina Millard joined us as Account Manager and latterly we have appointed two new Project Managers, Anne Terradot and Adam Allston.
We saw substantial growth in our Managed Services division, in terms of both the team, clients we support and the services we offer. Susan Martin joined as the HRIS technical support consultant and Zoe van Lokven completed her apprenticeship with distinction and accepted a full-time role as our HRIS Business Analysts. In addition to offering support for the Sage People HR System, the Managed Services offering was expanded to include Health Checks, temporary HRIS admin support and a Sage People adoption overview process.
Our company marketing saw a complete refocus with the appointment of Nicki Bond as Marketing Manager, who now heads up all things marketing and is currently working on relaunching our website. We also joined the HRTech247 community, the home of HR and Payroll technology, extending our reach into the market further.
We expanded our solution offerings with the formalisation of our partnership with Moorepay, a trusted market leader and provider of an integrated payroll solution for UK businesses across all sectors and markets.
Additionally, we formed a partnership with Epignosis, enabling us to offer a TalentLMS, a leading Learning Management System, and which provides us with the platform to offer extensive eLearning services going forward.
Building on our considerable experience and inhouse skill set we will also be expanding our integration and automation services to both our partners and clients going forward.
As we begin 2021 in a new lockdown, we know that there will be challenges ahead, but we are confident that together with the support of our strong team (with their extensive skill set & experience in the HR Industry), wide range of expanding service and growing partner base, our clients will continue to benefit from our offerings and effectively engage and manage their workforce going forward.
