Successful Macmillan Coffee Morning

We were delighted to host a Macmillan Coffee Morning here last week to support this worthy charity that is close to our hearts. The fundraiser was expertly organised by Jamie Wilkins, with the whole team getting behind the event, and welcoming not only organisations in our building, but also those in the rest of the Caswell site.

We hosted the coffee morning in our offices at mid-morning, providing hot drinks and a selection of sweet and savoury treats. Colleagues kindly contributed a wonderful array of homemade goodies including cheese and pesto cheese straws, millionaire's shortbread, carrot and banana cake. We encouraged people to sit down, have a drink and socialise - it was particularly lovely to see many neighbours meeting for the first time.

The feedback has been very positive. We raised around £130 from donations from both the food and drink and the "guess the length of the veggie roll" game. The money will be donated directly to Macmillan.
