In 2012, they merged with three Admiral Group divisions \u2013 Admiral IT, Admiral Network Infrastructure and Admiral Education Solutions \u2013 and needed HR project management support.<\/p>\n<h3>Challenge:<\/h3>\n<p>The merger of four business entities meant that the HR function had <a href=\"https:\/\/tugelapeople.com\/blog\/tips-for-data-migration\/\" rel=\"noopener\">multiple sources of data<\/a> and processes. They needed to establish an HR function for the new enlarged business that was streamlined and adopted best practice across the sector.<\/p>\n<p>Tugela People were approached to provide <a href=\"\/services-solutions\/hr-systems\/sage-people\/sage-project-management\/\" rel=\"noopener\">HR project management services<\/a>. To start, Tugela reviewed the various HR infrastructures and processes, finding that although some data sets overlapped, many were incompatible and spread across multiple systems.<\/p>\n<p>The challenge was to transition the organisation to an integrated HR function with minimal disruption.<\/p>\n<h3>Solution:<\/h3>\n<p>Tugela People began by:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Meeting with key decision-makers to determine desired outcomes<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Process mapping to understand current processes and systems being used<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Identify employee touchpoints and gap analysis<\/p>\n<p>Based on these findings Tugela then helped to put into place HR processes and policies that could support them into the future.<\/p>\n<h3>Outcome:<\/h3>\n<p>A single set of harmonised processes and policies that delivered value and enhanced the employee experience.<\/p>\n<p>Owen Daley, the Managing Director of Silverbug Ltd say: \u2018<em>Tugela People quickly got to know our business and its needs and in a short time was focusing to further develop our benefits, harmonisation, grading and general employment practices for use now and the future.
