Tugela People Celebrates 7th Anniversary

We are delighted to have celebrated our seventh anniversary last month. The past seven years have flown by for us and we are proud of where we are at, enjoying:

  • a robust Sage People partnership
  • an expanding international client base – we have just completed our 4th Australian implementation!
  • an expert team of 14 strong with 4 fabulous associates that speak Spanish, French, Hindi and German in addition to English
  •  a dynamic caring team culture underpinned by a strong corporate social responsibility ethos.

New Appointment: Charles McGregor

New Appointment Charles McGregorWe are delighted to welcome Charles McGregor to the newly created role of HRIS Professional Services Manager here at Tugela People. This key new international role is integral to our vision be the worldwide, go-to partner for people services.

Charles will lead our worldwide Sage People Implementation team drawing on his extensive HRIS and Sage People experience from both a client end user and the product / implementation perspective.

Previously Charles was a Senior Associate at Palladium (GRM Futures Group) where he oversaw the Fairsail implementation project before moving to Talent Rover (Salesforce based ATS) as a Solutions Consultant.

We’re back from another invigorating Tugela People conference packed with Sage People training, team-building, company updates, meeting new team colleagues and knowledge sharing sessions.

A highlight was the African drumming team building session on the second day which ended in a show to welcome and WOW our VIP Sage People guests.

A big thank you to everybody who took part and travelled to be with us for our Spring conference – especially our wonderful Sage People partners. All in all, a great event full of laughter, collaboration and enthusiasm. We are already looking forward to the next one

Tugela HR rebrands to Tugela People

We are delighted to inform you that Tugela HR is now called Tugela People.

Our new name better reflects our strategic focus on delivering a broader range of services in the global market for services and business software relating to Organisational People Management.

Tugela People Founder and Managing Director, Thomas Schilling, says:  “This is a very exciting time for us here at Tugela People as we develop the business to better meet the needs of our clients as they get to grips with the evolving People Management agenda.

Tugela are on the Move

Delighted to announce that we have upsized offices this week. We are settling nicely into our lovely, new offices which we are pleased to report are much lighter and brighter, with plenty of space for our growing team. FYI, we are still in Caswell Science and Technology Park in Northamptonshire, just a bigger office suite which better suits our requirements.
